The Millat Educational Society has been founded by Shahid Hussain a well-known educationist, philanthropist and Social worker. He has dedicated him self to the spread of education. Work done by him in the field of education, health, and social welfare is well known to everyone. He has been working not only in the field of education but also in every walk of life. A part from services rendered by him to the society he is known as a symbol of secularism. At first he established Millat Academy a Secondary level school in 1976. On 20th August 1982 a non-profit making organisation namely Millat Educational Society was established by him for the smooth functioning of the institutions. Consequently, Millat Academy has come into the fold of this very organisation. But he did not stop the KARWAN that had been started years ago to fulfill his dream to eliminate the illiteracy. Over the years seven institutions of various disciplines have been established by him one after other. He has dedicated almost everything to develop the organisation as an institute of repute. Now the organisation has developed as the Nodal Educational Cultural and Human Resources Development Centre providing efficient infrastructure to fulfil the dream of its founder. The organisation has grown into an umbrella institute of repute and is reaching the lower strata of the society. In the field of establishing educational institutions he is regarded as Sir Syed not only in this district but also in the adjoining districts.
